Whitehall - A case study.

Like many businesses today Whitehall needed a presence on the internet enabling the company to keep pace with competitors. The website had to showcase to new and existing clients the full and ever changing range of flooring options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Images were of key importance in demonstrating the wide range of raw materials available to current and potential customers of Whitehall. The team were able to make use of a wide range of material images as well as high quality photographs of previous work to create an eye catching and enjoyable browsing experience.

Each material available is accompanied by a list of information such as pricing by size and availability. This information is constantly changing and it is of utmost importance that browsers are presented with up to date information.

Possibly the most important aspect of the website was the content management system. The system needed to allow for fast and wide reaching changes to the site contents whilst remaining easy and logical to use; thus no training should be needed for its use. Data security is obviously of maximum importance and only those authorised to make changes to the site could be allowed to gain access.
