Project Description

Atkins was originally established in 1938 with offices in Westminster in London. In its early years the practice specialised in civil and structural engineering design work but expanded rapidly after World War II into specialist services in town planning, engineering sciences, architecture and project management.

Having worked on a number of complex projects for Atkins over the years, nakedWeb were commissioned in 2010 to create on online information portal for staff at the MOD to access the UK Statutory Legislation and EU Directives/Regulations applicable to the various projects undertaken.

Using an interactive mapping system the application allows users to create complex legislation matrices to ensure compliance in a wide range of areas such as Vehicle, Infrastucture and Utility legislation.
